This is the second time that I’ve had the pleasure of shooting a wedding inside one of the Towers of Tower Bridge itself. It’s so much fun to see inside the inter-workings of the bridge. You really feel like you’re in the centre of such an icon structure and you feel a “buzz” in the air. The room inside of Tower Bridge is a little on the small size but the views out the window over the bridge are incredible and it’s a perfect location for an intimate wedding.
This wedding is a perfect example of when doing both photo and video solo can work surprisingly well. This was a small wedding of only about 30 guests and having a separate videographer for such a small wedding may have overwhelmed such a small space. Their wedding format was a little different than most, after their ceremony and wedding breakfast, Cathy and Gary opted to do photos around central London
Cathy and Gary, and all of their family and friends were just so lovely and welcoming to me being apart of the wedding, and I truly did feel apart of the day, It’s one of the things I love most about wedding photography. The speeches were so heartwarming, and it was really great that they decided to have them filmed and preserved.
