Nicolette proposed the day before our engagement session and of course Sam said yes! She then surprised her with the fact they were having their engagement photos around the amazing city of London the next day. Nicolette and I planned out the engagement session several months prior to their trip and it felt a little bit like a secret covert mission.
We planned to start their session at sunrise at Tower Bridge, however Nic and Sam were delayed (silly taxi’s!), but I still had the joy of being able to watch the sunrise over tower bridge that morning. I still pinch myself that I get to live in this fantastic city.
When they were able to make it to the bridge, we still had fantastic light and a completely empty London, which is one of the many reasons why I love shooting at this time of day. I’m not a morning person, but empty streets and gorgeous light will always be worth it. This is the spot that Nicolette proposed to Sam the day before.
Afterwards we did photos around London, and we even stopped to take a shot of one of their favourite activities they like to do together, reading to each other.
