I was lucky enough to meet Zoe and Jamie at Hannah and Rob’s wedding last year. It’s so nice to get to know a group of friends at one wedding and then photograph them again a few months later. Zoe and Jamie and all of their friends are such a fantastic group of people with the best sense of humour.
Zoe and her bridesmaids all got ready for the wedding at the Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel. The hotel has “old and new” parts, which made the hotel photograph very well but still had all of the modern conveniences to make it a very comfortable hotel. The bridesmaids and I then road in vintage bus to the wedding. I’ve never rode in a bus quite like that, and it was such a fun trip.
The church was St. Helens Church in Abingdon near Oxford. The church was one of the most unique layouts I’ve ever encountered in a British Church. It was more “square” then most churches and was just a really stunning backdrop for a wedding. The best part of the ceremony has to be when the father of the bride had a bit of a “success!” moment after giving his daughter away. I’m so happy I was able to nail that frame for Zoe and Jamie, it’s definitely one of my favourite shots from this year.
We then headed back for the rest of the wedding at the Oxford Thames Four Pillars Hotel. The hotel had loads of outdoor space along the Thames to enjoy the warm weather.
Zoe and Jamie- Thank you again for having me be apart of your amazing wedding. It was such a fantastic wedding and it was such an honour to be apart of it and to have this pictures be apart of your family story. Lots of Love xxxx
