Just because you’re having a small, intimate wedding doesn’t mean you need to choose a small, understated venue for your ceremony. I absolutely love it when couples embrace grand, dramatic architecture—no matter the guest count.
St. Katherine’s Danish Church (Den Danske Kirke) is one of the Nordic Churches of London, nestled right next to Regent’s Park. It serves as a home church for London’s Danish community, with services and hymns traditionally held in Danish. However, this couple opted for an English-language ceremony so that all of their guests could fully participate in the moment.
Photographing in this church was an absolute dream. The space was bathed in gorgeous natural light, making every shot feel effortlessly beautiful.
After the ceremony, we headed to The Gore Hotel in Central London for the wedding breakfast meal and some portraits on the lovely brick lined streets nearby.
