The Battersea Arts Centre was always one of those London venues that I really wanted to shoot in. I loved it’s big architecture and beautiful light that streams through it’s giant windows. When it caught fire in 2015, I was devastated. However, I could have never expected how they restored the venue in a way that added even more texture to the space and somehow made it even more beautiful. So, when Rick and Alexis got in touch to have me photograph their Battersea Arts Centre wedding last year, I was very excited.
I loved photographing this wedding. Rick and Alexis are so much fun to photograph, and they even brought their fantastic dog Archie to the wedding as well. Alexis even picked out this incredible “Lucy Can’t Dance” dress with an ombre orange colour that really worked with the Battersea Arts Centre’s colours.
