Ventnor Botanic Gardens on the Isle of Wight is a dream wedding venue for me. I’m a bit into gardening, and when I say a bit, I mean, I dream about meeting Monty Don and I know my Dahlia’s from my daisies and my clematis from my camelia’s. I was so impressed and god smacked with the gardens of Ventnor, and to be able to shoot Howard and Hannah’s wedding there was incredible.
Hannah got ready for her wedding in the gardens own cottage, which sits inside the garden and has incredible views over their desert plants. When you sit inside the cottage, you don’t feel like your in England at all.
Their ceremony and reception was inside Ventnor’s New Zealand Garden, which is such a perfect cosy little spot for a wedding. It feels like a secret hidden spot, and it’s amazing that the wedding guests can go an explore the gardens throughout the wedding day.
If you’re considering getting married at the Ventnor Botantic Garden- PLEASE DEAR GOD GET IN TOUCH. Holy-moly I love this venue, I need to go back and shoot here again and again.
