Some of the many, many things I loved about Elen and Paul’s Wedding:
-Elen learning how to say her vow’s in Czech from Paul’s Mother.
-Paul running so late on the morning of the wedding, that he actually finished dressing at the end of the aisle :D
-The sentimentally of tying the knot in Elen’s home town of Tenterden, Kent and have their wedding reception in the garden of a family friend.
-Their cake table with various deserts brought by family and friends, and their wedding cake made to match Elen’s parents wedding cake.
-The surprise “newly wed” games that Paul’s family from the Czech Republic put on.
-The awesome Scottish ceilidh dancing
I got to know Elen and Paul a little more than my normal clients as they were the amazing couple who came up to Iceland with me in March for their engagement session. Not only were they great company, they braved the weather, broken down cars and were still a blast to hang out with. Elen is one of the nicest people out there and Paul is absolutely hilarious. They are such a great couple, and it was a huge honour to be a part of their wedding day and capture these images for them. Thank you so much for having me, and my second shooter Irene be a part of your incredible celebration. Getting to know clients like Elen and Paul and seeing their families come together on such a monumental day is the thing I love most about my job.
