Although there are plenty of Manor House wedding venues throughout the UK, the Manor House Lindley is unique in it’s style. The bones of the building are Victorian, but the interior has so many modern touches. They’ve embraced using dark colours inside, which combined with the large windows makes it a photographers dream. I was blown away on how well this venue works for photography.
Bradley and Kayleigh got ready in the Manor’s “Hidden Lounge Suite”: a thoughtfully laid out suite on the top floor of the venue. It has it’s own living room, balcony and two separate bedrooms. It was the perfect spot for the getting ready portion and made an amazing backdrop for the detail photos as well a great location for the family first look photos, which were really important to Kayleigh.
From there, we headed down to the Coach House, where Bradley and Kayleigh had their ceremony. It was an emotional ceremony. Afterwards we headed outside to the private courtyard they have available for weddings. The weather was incredible, and it was so lovely to sit outside and relax and enjoy the sunshine.
Bradley and Kayleigh opted for the Manor House Lindley’s “Twilight Package” which skips the sit down meal and just opts for a informal cocktail hour instead. However, the cocktail hour wasn’t light on food, it was still a large meal, with plenty of options for everyone to find something that they liked.
This venue really surprised me. It’s a unique venue hidden away in Huddersfield, and I would love to shoot there again! Thank you Bradley and Kayleigh for having me be apart of your day! It was magical!
