The Greenwich Yacht Club is a bit of an unexpected wedding venue. With a sea of historical wedding venues across the UK, the Greenwich Yacht Club is completely different. It’s a modern building, sitting on stilts above the thames. You can sit and watch the dramatic tides roll in and out, as well as the vast array of boats and ferries sail past. It’s in the middle of London, yet calm and relaxing, like a secret hideaway. My absolute favourite thing about this venue however is the light. Large glass windows allow the light to poor in through all sides of the building, and it’s a joy to photograph in.
I loved photographing this wedding, and I especially enjoyed getting to know Jessica and Eian throughout the planning process. It reminded me a lot of my own wedding, intimate and personal, with loads of time to actually catch up with your family and friends.
