Cover Text
There is space for two lines of text on the cover of your matted album. The post popular option for using these lines is to have your Names on the first line and your wedding date on the 2nd.
The size of your album will determine the amount of text space available on the cover:
8×8: 15 Characters per line
10×10: 19 Characters per line
12 x 12: 23 Characters per line
Cover Text Imprinting
Debossing: Some might call it blind blocking or stamping, but it’s all the same magical process. Using traditional methods, letters are imprinted into the cover without ink or foil for an elegant and classic presentation.
Printing: The latest technique in personalisation. Available to be printed directly on to most materials in either black or white ink with your own custom font or design.
Foil Blocking: Heat to transfer metallic foil to our albums for an eye-catching enhancement.
Laser Engraving: A highly accurate laser to engrave your text or logo. The process is almost something from James Bond, and works by removing the top layer of the material revealing the natural hues of the material underneath. As a digital process, engraving has the advantage of enabling us to reproduce the fine detail of logos and almost any international language character supported in the available standard fonts.
22 Carat Gold: You can 22 Carat gold to leather cover for an extra luxurious touch.
Font Options
For debossing and foil blocking, your standard font choice for text is Helvetica or Coronation. For those of you unfamiliar with Coronation, it’s a font used in traditional book-binding but is similar to Century Gothic.
For printing, engraving and 22 carat gold, Century, Century Gothic, Courier, Gill Sans, Helvetica, Times, Trajan and Univers are also options.
