Wedding Photography for Civil Ceremonies

Award-winning wedding photography by the hour

With multiple international awards from the Wedding Photojournalist Association, The International Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers, Fearless Photographers and others, you'll be receiving the very best London has to offer in your wedding coverage.

You're also getting a photographer with the experience of over 350 weddings under their belt. So no matter the situation, weather, lighting, or the odd family drama, you're hiring a wedding photographer that's seen it all.

Small but mighty

You might not be planning a huge wedding with hundreds of guests, but your intimate wedding is still going perfect and personal to you as a couple.

A small wedding doesn't mean that you have to sacrifice having beautiful images to help remember your day.

Discrete & Natural coverage

Even if you only have a couple of witnesses, wedding photography can still feel discrete.  If you're not comfortable in front of the camera, that's ok!  Most everyone doesn't like having their picture taken.  There's a delicate balance in having photography coverage that feels relaxed but still captures all of the important moments.

Questions?

What's included in your coverage and packages?

All of my packages, no matter how small or large include photography coverage with me, individual editing and retouching on your images, an online gallery with privacy controls and direct download, and the right to print your photos however and wherever you choose.  My quotes also include VAT and any travel costs.

The shortest amount of time that I'll book out for civil ceremony coverage is an hour.  That's enough time to cover the ceremony, confetti as you're coming out, and any formal pictures of family and friends you might want immediately after.

I usually recommend an hour and a half booking for most couples looking for minimal coverage. That's enough time to cover all of the above, plus have a mini photoshoot of you and your partner in the area around the Registry Office.

You can opt at any time to add prints, albums, extra hours or video highlights to your coverage.

What registry offices to you cover?

I've been shooting weddings in London for 10 years now, and over that course of time, I've had the pleasure of shooting in pretty much every London Town Hall and Registry Office. Some of the most popular registry offices in London, such as Islington Town Hall, Old Marylebone Town Hall, and Old Chelsea Town Hall, I will usually see multiple times over the course of a year.

How many images will I receive?

I generally deliver about 80-100 images per hour of coverage.  My goal is to provide you with as many unique, high-quality images as possible. I know you'll want to see as many photos as possible from your wedding day, but I know that you don't want to feel like you're looking at a lot of duplicates that feel the same.

Don't be afraid to ask to see a full gallery so you can get a feel for what a full set of images looks like.

How long does it take to receive my full gallery?

Depending on the time of year, your full gallery is usually ready within two to four weeks.  I'll let you know right after your wedding what I expect the turn around time to be.

Sounds great! What happens next?

Get in touch to check to see if your date is still available.  Especially for weekday weddings in the London area, I frequently do have last-minute availability.

I'll send you a bespoke quote for coverage based on exactly what you're looking for your photography coverage.

If I tick all your boxes, I'll send through the booking form, invoice and contract to seal the deal and get your wedding day locked in.

I need a 50% payment on the invoice to hold the date, and the remainder is due before your wedding day.  Everything can be done online, including signing your contract, and you can even pay with a credit card.

After you're booked in, we can schedule in a pre-wedding planning session if you'd like, to make sure that every detail of what is important to you is covered.
